From 3D Model to Installed Sculpture: Our Fabrication Process Explained

A great sculpture looks effortless. Behind it is a controlled process that takes an idea from a sketch to a finished piece bolted safely to your floor. Here's how we do it under one roof.
1. Concept & design
Everything starts with the brief: the space, the story, the budget. Our artists turn that into concept sketches, then a 3D model — so you can approve the exact form, proportions, material and finish before we cut anything. No surprises later.
2. Fabrication method
We pick the right build method for the piece:
- CNC routing / hot-wire carving — for foam cores and large geometric forms.
- Moulding & lamination — for fiberglass skins and editions.
- Large-format 3D printing — for complex, organic or highly detailed geometry.
- Cutting, forming & welding — for steel and aluminium.
Many pieces combine methods: a CNC-carved core, a fiberglass skin, an internal steel armature for strength.
3. Finishing
This is where the illusion is sold. Hard-coating, gel-coat, automotive paint, metal polishing or patina — the surface is what makes foam look like bronze, or steel look like liquid mercury. It's the slowest, most skilled stage, and it's what separates a premium piece from a cheap one.
4. Delivery & installation
We handle transport, on-site assembly and anchoring across the UAE — including cranes and permits for oversized pieces, and municipality approval documentation for public art. One team owns it from sketch to install, so accountability never gets lost between suppliers.
